Lavender Superblue - Provence
Lavender may be the quintessential French herb. Grown in abundance in the sunny hills of Southern France, Lavendar leaves have a slightly bitter taste and are frequently combined with other native Provence herbs to create a wide variety of dishes with classic French flavours. Reward yourself on occassion and use Lavender in red sauces for pasta, as flavour enhancer to fruits and as an edible garnish on salads, entrees, soups and desserts.
